1. Information We Collect

The Tivi Gündem app collects the following information:

• Device identifier (anonymous, contains no personal information)
• Read news titles and categories (for the in-app recommendation system)
• Notification permission status
• Country and city information (approximate location via IP, automatic/statistical)
• Device brand, operating system, and app version (automatic/statistical, to improve the app experience)

From the Profile screen, you may optionally also share the following information:

• Email address: used only to send the weekly newsletter, toggled on/off with a separate consent checkbox
• Age range: used to highlight news more relevant to your age group
• Profession: used to recommend news more relevant to your profession

The app does not request your first name, last name, or phone number.

2. Use of Information

The information collected is used for the following purposes:

• Providing personalized news recommendations
• Sending notifications (if permission is granted)
• Analyzing app performance and usage statistics
• Displaying advertising (AdMob and direct advertising partners)

3. Third-Party Services

Our app makes use of the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob: Ad serving. For AdMob's privacy policy, see: policies.google.com/privacy
• Expo (React Native): App infrastructure
• RevenueCat: Premium subscription management — purchases are verified through your App Store/Play Store account; when you switch devices, your membership is reactivated via "Restore Purchases"

4. Data Retention

Data is stored on Hetzner Cloud infrastructure, on servers based in Germany. Anonymous device data that does not constitute personal data is retained for a maximum of 12 months.

5. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from this age group.

6. Your Rights

You may contact us at the email address below to request deletion or export of your data. You can also instantly and permanently delete your profile data from within the app via Settings > Delete My Account.
